About the Role

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality for mobile applications? We’re seeking a skilled QA Mobile Tester to join our digital quality assurance team in Pune. In this role, you’ll work alongside agile teams to deliver robust, user-friendly mobile solutions across Android and iOS platforms. If you have hands-on experience with tools like Appium, Selenium, and mobile testing frameworks, this is your chance to make an impact!


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX/Design, Engineering, and QA teams to deliver critical projects on time.

  • Manage the bug lifecycle: defect tracking, detailed reporting, analysis, and validation.

  • Create comprehensive Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases from requirements; utilize Jira to oversee all phases of the testing process.

  • Review business and technical documentation to pinpoint gaps and identify critical test areas.

  • Define and execute testing strategies for mobile applications, including test planning, unit, integration, system, and regression testing.

  • Troubleshoot issues on Android and iOS devices, ensuring smooth user experience across platforms.

  • Provide responsive support for issues reported via email, phone, or internal channels.

  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a detailed knowledge base.

  • Conduct manual and exploratory testing to validate application features and usability.

  • Utilize and gain exposure to platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, Azure, Athena, and Data Dog for test and incident management.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Expertise in mobile testing frameworks such as Appium and Selenium.

  • Experience with manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS, Android, web-based, and database-connected).

  • Proficiency in QA methodologies, troubleshooting, and defect management.

  • Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Azure).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear issue reporting and documentation.

  • Customer-oriented mindset with proven ability to provide outstanding support and resolve queries professionally.

  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in documenting test cases, test results, and process improvements.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Exposure to monitoring and analytics tools such as Athena and Data Dog.
